The charged capacitor semantics is not trivial. I can remember
being confused while learning General Physics by Q = CV.
But does not the charge on a capacitor always add up to 0?
How can one charge a
capacitor if the net charge does not change?
I finally concentrated on one plate but the words did confuse me for
quite a while.
