Re: Crumple zones

You can order scads of publications geared for various audiences from
NHTSA at

http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/outreach/media/catalog/material.cfm

You can also see a few online papers regarding vehicle modelling on
computers at the National Crash Analysis Center:

http://gwuva.gwu.edu/ncac/

I am looking for some internet sites my students can visit which outline
safety features like crumple zones, air bags, pre-tensioning seat belts and
the like and which have some detail like times, forces and so on.
I have so far only found sites which talk in general about these features
but do not give any data.
Can anyone help me?
Scott.
