Thank you for reminding me. I couldn't get BCS of my mind.
Then also, Faraday (wasn't he the first who thought on an
interaction mediated via a field?), Maxwell (So that we have
the other 'pair' in the history of physics), and also
obviusly then the inventor of the transistor: Baarden, Cooper and...
(I always forget it) Shefield?
The transistor was invented by Brattain, Shockley and Bardeen. John
Bardeen was then at Bell labs. He later won a second Nobel Prize in
physics for the theory of superconductivity together with Cooper and
Schrieffer.
