Re: HTML math fonts?

Depends on what you mean by "using math symbols". If you just want to
display them, then you should be able to use your word processor just as
though you were going to print them out and then convert the file to HTML.
Microsoft's Word (not to be confused with Works or Wordperfect) works pretty
well if you download their Internet Assistant (Win 3.1 version available at
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/deskapps/word/winword-public/ia/wordia.exe). I think
the latest version of Word comes with the assistant built in.

If you want to do more than show the symbols, try Maple's MathView software.
This allows visitors to your site to manipulate the equations and graphs for
themselves. You have to but the program to post the stuff on your web page,
but the plug in for people to see and use it is free. Try
http://www.maplesoft.com/CyberMath/index.html for details. This takes a
little "cyber sophistication" to work on your web site, but it can be done.

Please reply to the list on this--I am also very interested and I think
others will be too.
