What does the list suppose Hawking means when he says that a "black hole has
no hair"?

That a black hole has no distinguishing features other than mass, charge,
and angular momentum. This is true in classical GR, but is not true of
some black holes in some string theories (a.k.a. M-theory now), and may or
may not be true of real black holes (which presumably would require a
full theory of quantum gravity for their description, which doesn't exist
yet).
