Re: Physic textbook errata

For those who tried to view this already and had problems with links to
the individual pages, my apologies. For anybody who cares, what follows
is the explanation.

For some presently unknown reason, I've lost my ability to ftp to
cyberspc. So when I updated my errors.html file this morning I got clever
and e-mailed it to myself as an attachment. Then I could login, go to the
unix shell, extract it with pine and shove it into the appropriate
directory. So far so good. The problem is that because it was sent as an
attachment, the file was altered (dare I say corrupted?) by a Netscape
"feature". It had a tag at the top that stated where on my hard disk it
came from. So when a browser looks for any of the relative links on the
page, it looks for them relative to c:\dcc\phys\ rather than relative to
the location of the page being viewed. Brilliant! Anyways, its fixed now.

Thanks to those who pointed it out to me early enough to fix up without
too much embarrassment.
