I want to thank everyone who worked so diligently on the worm problem.
I now understand it much better than I did before thanks to the variety
of solutions you offered. I wish I could get the sort of responses I
got here from all my students. This semester has been pretty good for
me in both my lecture courses, but last semester I had what I think
must have been the worst class I ever had, 30 students in introductory
E&M and optics. I was beginning to think I'd lost it until this
semester's students started to respond much better. But the participants
here are more fun, and no one asks if this is going to be on the exam.
