Can someone please give the transliteration of the german word=20
Kraft
together with some possible connotations.
I'll try:
As long as you refer to a (modern) physical context: just use
force and nothing else.
But in everyday german you might be better off with power
("Kraftwerk" is a power-plant, "Kraftfahrzeug" is any
engine-powered vehicle, "Kraftwagen" is a car, "Kraftstoff" is
fuel)
Then "Kraft"/"kr=E4ftig" very often mean the opposite to
"weakness/weak".
Law: "in Kraft treten" =3D become applyable (or better valid?)
"kraft meines Amtes" =3D by virtue of my official position

(where we speak German, although the Germans won't admit it)
