Something familiar that does not obey the superposition? What about the
wire example which was described two days ago? Suppose E1 is very small
and the wire is cold while E2 is very large when the wire is very hot.
In that case measured E1 and measured E2 will not add up to produce
measured E3. The material property changed (resistance of the wire).
Can this be called a deviation from the superposition principle? I am
not sure.
