=20You may consider a ferromagnet with a great histeresis area
Does anyone have a good example of some force which does NOT obey the=20
superposition principle, and a simple way of describing it? I think=20
that people (including myself) tend to think that superposition (i.e.=20
that E-fields obey the superposition principle) is obvious. For that=20
reason it is useful to explain how and why something might not obey=20
such a principle, i.e. that it is by no means obvious that all forces=20
should obey it.
