TENURE TRACK POSITION
TWO-YEAR SABBAATICAL REPLACEMENT POSITION
THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS

The Department of Physics at the University of Dallas invites
applications for two positions beginning in August 1997: a tenure-track
position at the Assistant Professor level and a two-year sabbatical
replacement. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in any area of physics
including physics education. Applicants should be committed to liberal
arts education, demonstrate excellence and innovation in teaching, be
able to contribute to all aspects of an undergraduate physics program,
and establish and maintain an undergraduate research program. The
University of Dallas, a forty year-old liberal arts institution with an
undergraduate population of 1100, was recently named by Peterson's Guide
as one of the top colleges for science. The Physics Department offers
both the B.A. and B.S. degrees and ninety percent of its graduates have
received advanced degrees. Candidates should send a curriculum vitae
