Ideally you'd want an on-site investigation of the scene, hoping it hadn't
been cleaned up already. But did you question the student for details
about those vibrating pieces of glass? Presumably they were lying on the
floor and jiggling, or jumping around? That sounds just a bit fishy. Was
the rest of the room vibrating?
