Eric Mazur, Physics Professor, Harvard University
will be giving a satellite TV seminar,
sponsored by the National Science Foundation,
under their Advanced Technology & Management Programs.
His seminar "Understanding or Memorization:
Are We Teaching the Right Thing?" on Tuesday Nov. 12, 1996 from 4-5 PM will
be broadcast from Northeastern University - Room 408 Ell Building, the live
satellite up-link site. Boston area High School Teachers and University
faculty can attend the presentation as Dr. Mazur's audience.
Since space is limited to 40 people registration is required.
