Does anyone know about or know a reference regarding a material which is
soft until it has light of a particular wavelength shined on it, at which
time it hardens? I just had a hole filled in an artificial tooth and they
used this stuff to fill the hole. The dentist didn't seem to know a lot
about it other than it worked (and how to use it) and the light was "kind
of like uv". The hardened form is as hard as tooth enamel (maybe harder)
but is like putty initially. I was curious about the process.
