Amazingly enough, there are still some beknighted folks whose access to
the Net is via a serial connection with character-mode terminal emulation
(e.g. VT100 or VT220).  :-)

In my office, I use a serial connection, but I can walk a few steps down 
the hall to the computer lab when I want to use Netscape or whatever.  At 
home, I don't have that option; all our dialup lines go to a terminal 
server.  PPP connections are coming in the fall, though... I can hardly 
wait.
