There are some fundamental materials developed for an intensive hands on
course by the AIP and AAPT. Called Powerful Ideas in Physics, it provides
a model for appropriate approaches for students for whom conceptual
development is so critical. You may contact AAPT at 301 209-3300. You
will have to work on the materials that they will use in their own
classrooms, these materials address the conceptual changes that they should
experience as they study physics.
