We have received a small NSF grant to try a 2 quarter integrated course
for pre-engineering students. We will need to run this Wtr-Spr 97 with 1
section of students. We have a fair number of students who intend to
transfer to the Electrical Engineering program at the University. We are
a Community College with a strong Engineering transfer program in place.
So far we are looking at teaching 2 qtrs (10 qtr credits of Calculus), 1
qtr (5 qtr credits) of Physics, and 9 credits in engineering problems,
statics and computer (probably some programing with numerical methods?)
We are interested in hearing from others who have tried similar courses.
