Re: New list is up

Dick,

Thank you for all you do to keep this list-serve running. This is also
my test to see if the new list is working for me.

Just to include some "physics", has anyone viewed the comet that is now
visible? If so, what power binoculars is required?

Lowell Herr

Any. You don't want large magnification because of the low surface
brightness of the comet. What your really want is lots of light
gathered with little magnification. Might even be better with just
your eyes.

For a locator map, check out the Sky & Telescope web site at
http://www.skypub.com/comets/comets.html.

Have fun! Closest approach is on Sunday night when it should be
visible all night long.
