Re: [Phys-L] How Do I Change My Email Address for Phys-L?

You are correct that you can keep your Verizon email address by transferring
to AOL. It was a close call, but I felt AOL itself might drop email service
in a year or two, but Google's Gmail was more likely to be long lasting (and
Gmail was reasonably well-regarded by the internet community). I will say
that changing all the email addresses is not a small job, but I am retired
and have the time. Another option, still open to me until April 12, would
be to transfer to AOL (so I keep the Verizon email address) and little by
little transfer organizations over to Gmail. After all transfers have been
made, then cancel the AOL email service and keep Gmail. However, at this
point I'm about 75% done with the transfers, so I think I'll just go for the
complete change over by April 12.

It is my understanding that you can keep your verizon email address, even
though you transfer to AOL.
Please advise if this is wrong.

Verizon is terminating their email service, so I am switching to Gmail.
How do
I make the address change for Phys-L?
