In the MetaPhysics course (Great Courses) I listened to, that bunch has 'calculated' that IF IT IS POSSIBLE to create a virtual reality such as shown in 'The Matrix' (possible by some level of intelligent life) then there is a 20% chance that we are living in such a simulation! That would take care of 'reality' but it also provides some simple answers to some of the mysteries of the Universe..especially Quantum Mechanics!
