Last month I went all over the city and county looking for a store to buy
ribbons for my old typewriter and my ancient one.

Nobody in any store knew what I was talking about.

There’s a shop in Salinas that services typewriters. The “parts" location is secret to prevent theft.

bc thinks Bennett should try the local antique stores, and suspects rapidograph ink might work, or better stamp pad ink sold in bottles.

Chart recorder ink? One can still buy pens, ink, parts, and the paper charts for them.

p.s. Since we (I and GK) shop at Star Market, as does the editor of the MCW, and now seen his pic. we can stare him down for you.
