As the owner of two digital hearing aids (ReSound Lynx 2), I found Ludwik's
essay useful to read.  His experiences closely parallel mine in buying,
adjusting (as done by the audiologist), and using/caring for the aids.  His
advice on keeping the aids dry is worth heeding as I believe I caused one of
my aids to fail by wearing it when I was sweating profusely (fortunately,
this happened under warranty).
