Re: [Phys-L] HEARING AIDS

Ludwik,

I skimmed over your essay enough to see your remarks about ReSound. ReSound
is a European company (Dutch I believe) which also now owns Beltone. They
are a respected (large) maker of hearing aids. I have had a pair of digital
ReSound "Linx" hearing aids for a year and a half now which I am very
pleased with. They were about $2300 apiece from an audiologist. The fee
includes complete service/adjustment for one year and a three year warranty
(which includes loss). I did have to have one of the aids replaced after it
failed (may have been because I l left it in when I was perspiring heavily).
The replacement was done promptly with no hassle and handled by the
audiologist. I would recommend ReSound.
