Jerry Epstein, well known by math and physics educators for his "Basic Skills Diagnostic Test" (BSDT) [Epstein 1997)] and "Calculus Concept Inventory" (CCI) [Epstein 2013)] has died; see. e.g. Fitzcarl Reid's announcement at Epstein's Facebook page
