I suggest you search the archives of TAP-L, as this was the subject of a long 
conversation a few years ago  (IIRC, a similar experience to Peter Schoch’s was 
related, also) .  Even better, also, join TAP-L and request.  

Warning:   A large number of the list members are, evidently, anthropomorphic 
global climate change deniers and Tea Party members.  Do not rise to their 
baiting, as the list owner will respond by denying membership.

Purchase them as special use bulbs such as severe duty service...  Second, vote 
Against idiot politicians instead of voting for them...


Only those that can insure that their rights cannot be taken can exercise 
them...

A curious irony, Bush (Jr) signed the “banning” bill and Obama signed the 
budget bill which sl. delayed its implementation.  (If I read the below linked 
page correctly.)
