Why not turn this prob. around and have the students think about this without recourse to the internet or paper. Then try both to verify their hypots????

bc remembers the question back in the fifties about storing E ina rocket. All I remember is a tank of gas was far better than a Pb-acid.

p.s. A Sci-Am article compared Ds and AAs; the result: the equivalent weight of AAs to Ds was much better.

Note, IIRC one E-M torch used a cap. instead ofa secondary cell(s).
