A New York Times headline I never expect to see (or anywhere else):
"Religious right agrees not to push for Creationism &
Intelligent Design in public schools and religious left
agrees not to demand global warming/global cooling be taught
in public schools."
With regard to the expanding or shrinking universe message:
Have all the quasars shrunk out of sight? There are none in
what are usually considered as nearby galaxies.
Will original sender please fill in the blank? This
hypothesis has the ability to remove the need for 'dark matter'
and 'dark energy', and label physics and physicists as....
After reading part of a book by Smolin called "Time Reborn"
one choice would be failures who have given up trying to
explain the universe and have retreated into playing
mathematical games.
End message
