Thanks for the report. As you saw, IE doesn't currently support WebGL, the
3D graphics library for browsers, but the Chrome Frame plugin installs
WebGL. A few days ago Google announced that as of next January Chrome Frame
will no longer be available. I hope that by that time Microsoft will have
changed its mind about WebGL. There is a lot of excitement in the computer
graphics and web design communities about WebGL, so presumably there's
increasing pressure on Microsoft about this.

So many are the reasons why any sample code will not run on a personal
PC,
that I was pleasantly surprised when my copy of IE merely requested I allow
the installation of Chrome Frame, and then enable it a minute or two later.
It is pleasant to see code: run code... a luxury of the earliest code
familiarization
modality: Basic!... in a rather more civilized way.
