Subject: [Phys-L] reasoning strategy +- frustration

SNIP

A useful analysis of this question was provided by the famous philosopher
Rogers:

You got to know when to hold 'em,
know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away,
know when to run.

Actually (for historical and copyright purposes), the analysis was provided by Don Schlitz, nighttime computer operator at Vanderbilt University in the mid-1970's. He mounted many a tape and ran many trays of cards for me. Unfortunately, he didn't assign any royalties to me for giving him something to do on those long evenings. Rogers was the singer, but Schlitz was the writer.
