The supporting data is the poll (long term study) to which the author referred.

People aren't busting a gut to come here so much. So few Mexicans, the AG industry here is worried. I think the effect of our ed. has a time lag, people compartmentalize, and, as JC has writ, there are pockets of enlightenment.
