As for the electrophorus topic: The following is a work in
progress. Right now it is about half finished:

Excellent start. Eq. (6) has a typo: it should be Y not L in the denominator. Then it agrees with the formula in my email:

1 - V/V0 = (1-2h/Y)^2 where V0 = Q*Y/4*A*eps0 and A = pi*r^2.

I'm still wondering whether the method of images can't be used to do better? It's a bit messy in that it's like an infinite hall of mirrors, with an infinite sequence of images behind all 4 walls.

Also does anything significant change if we add walls in the z direction?
