You may have heard that Comet ISON will be visible this month. Two
astronomers from the International Scientific Optical Network (ISON)
discovered it on September 21, 2012. ISON will be visible about 30 minutes
before sunrise above the east/southeast horizon. It will be closest to the
Sun on Thanksgiving, but the best views should come in December when it
will be visible before sunrise and after sunset!
