The Department of Physics and Astronomy (

Alaska Anchorage invites applications for a tenure-track position at the
Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to
teach both lower division and upper division undergraduate physics courses
and to establish a research program. This candidate will enhance a physics
degree program. We are especially interested in candidates with
experimental physics experience who can take advantage of our newly
constructed research space. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics (or a
closely related scientific field), teaching experience in physics and a
publication record.
