Re: [Phys-L] Physics Questions Without Numbers

Does anyone know if similar, conceptual based questions exist for chemistry?
I am teaching some general chem this year (high school). Most of the material in use here is regurgitation and plug and chug chemistry.

Thanks! Took a quick look, and they look useful.

Teachers of physics at Year 11/12 and First Year College level will be
interested in the questions in

www.education.monash.edu.au/research/groups/science/files/physics-qwn.pdf<http://www.education.monash.edu.au/research/groups/science/files/physics-qwn.pdf>
<http://www.education.monash.edu.au/research/groups/science/files/physics-qw
n.pdf>

These "physics questions without numbers", some 234 in number, explore
student's conceptions in Mechanics, Heat, Light, Sound, Waves, Electricity,
Magnetism and Nuclear.

They are readily adaptable for use as a basis for class discussion, clicker
questions etc.
