I've been reading this theme and enjoying the information and
viewpoints
presented on a complicated problem. I really cannot see what the
observation made by John Clement had to do with this
discussion, other than
a personal diatribe about "little old ladies" who don't
operate like he
thinks they should. Apart from this inane comment, a very
good discussion.

weapons. Just so long as we have them and nobody else does.
Reminds me of the little old lady who complained that people
should not be
going into outer space. God did not intend them to go there.
They should
stay home and watch TV as the good Lord intended.
Would she really care what the age of the Earth is?
