Re: [Phys-l] cooling hints

Since you aparently have a short term memory deficiency, let me quote your posting:

"Hey, if you are going to quit the list, then do so already! Quit beating a dead horse. Better people than you have been contributing conservative opinions here for years and haven't quit, so either crap or get off the pot.

M."

Bill resigned from the list (a big loss in my opinion - his posts on teaching techinques were thought provoking) because he was fed up with the usual cycle of lefties posting smarmy politically charged rantings to the list which are tolerated until someone from the right answers. Then a big call to stop being politcal.

Whenever anyone cares to throw anti-conservative spitballs into physics education topics I, for one, will respond - each and every time (unless it's simply refering to factual actions that are related to teaching). If people don't like that they can petition the list minitor to remove my access to the list.

Grow up!

Apologize? Why? Bitchy? You bet your behind I am. This forum has become a place for political diatribes and now silly admonitions about not turning your heat off? It remains for some others here to apologize to everyone else.

This post is the second in a week that, IMO, we can certainly do without.
We didn't get an apology for the first (I guess most here didn't see it as
rude and uncalled for?). This one is just bitchy.

I'll just say---cut it out!

To prolong this thread for further explanation is just as bad as some of
the political rubbish that persists here at times.
