Does the impedance of a speaker affect the sound quality/loudness?
loudness? for a given input voltage, yes
quality? no IF the impedance is frequency independent which is not usually
the case
Are the crossover frequencies the lower limits of the midrange and
tweeter, respectively?
yes but the limit is not sharp. It is the frequency where the majority of
the input transfers to midrange and tweeter
