Indeed. The fact that 7.0+ quakes were recorded more frequently than much
smaller quakes before ~1965 makes things VERY suspect. And the conclusion that
these events are "trending exponentially" (according to that website), but
fitted with apparent quadratics (notice that the very first plot's trendline has
a minimum just after 1935) makes me question the whole thing.

Interesting only as an example of how easy it is for someone with a strong
belief in the supernatural to fool themselves. The author presents the obvious
explanation for the "interesting" aspect and then proceeds not to buy that
explanation.
