Strongly discouraged. At least two reasons:

1. Topping off often causes gasoline to spill out the top and onto the ground.
The gasoline evaporates into the air contributing to smog.

2. Topping off often causes gasoline to slosh into the vapor recovery system
making it less effective at keeping gasoline vapors from getting into the air
via venting in the gas tank.

Bernard, SF has fine air, thanks to ocean wind, but the rest of the area, not so
much so. Do your part to help out.

Don't think so, but is discouraged. The 1.5 => 2 ga. gives me another 60+ =>
80+ miles. Ridiculous.
