[Phys-l] Too good to be true?

I POSTED THIS EARLIER BUT MY MESSAGE WAS PROBABLY LOST.

Some of you might be interested in an article that I have just posted. The link is:

http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/11027663-rossis-invention-unlimited-safe-and-inexpensive-energy-or-wishful-thinking-reporting-from-fort-lee-new-jersey

It is an entry in a writing contest. Please post your comments at their website. Please evaluate this short article; it was written with general public in mind. Feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

Thank you in advance,

Ludwik

P.S.

Anyone can enter this contest. Here is how it has been announced last week:

Dear Allvoices writers,

I'm very excited to announce the official details for our writing contest, "2011 Memories, 2012 Dreams."

Check out the contest here; be sure to read our details and official rules for full information.

The contest begins on Monday, December 5, at 12:00 am Pacific time. Underneath where you write your story, you'll see a checkbox next to the words "Enter in 2011 Memories, 2012 Dreams Contest." Clicking on that checkbox and then publishing your story will enter it into the contest.

The author of the best story in December will win an iPad 2! We'll also be awarding $50 to the author of the best story each week and to the author of the article with the best headline. Check out Punditty's great headline tutorial here if you haven't already.

Again, the theme of the contest is "2011 Memories, 2012 Dreams." A few examples of article topics that would work include:
--Top 10 sporting events of 2011
--Predictions for the 2012 U.S. presidential elections
--New Year's resolutions
--How the Arab Spring impacted the rest of the world

In general, articles should reflect, analyze, discuss and/or predict, rather than simply summarizing. Pieces that you've already published on Allvoices or elsewhere are not eligible for the contest.

To see an example entry that we put together, click here. Please note that submissions that do not meet the contest theme may be removed from the contest at Allvoices' discretion. More detailed explanations of judging criteria can be found in the official rules.

For updates about the contest, including prize announcements, check out the official Allvoices Contest profile here. As always, feel free to email us at community@allvoices.com if you have any questions.
