A BTW: For domestic instant warm water the pump pressurizes the hot supply at the tank. At the most distant hot faucet supply a pressure relief valve opens to the cold supply. The one from Costco includes a timer, so the pump operates only when need expected.

I add for the chickens: An auto pump (thermometer controlled switch) may pay for itself and insulate the pipe.
