Re: [Phys-l] Censorship of science by politicians

There are now 2 articles about censorship of science in TX:

-freedom-of-climate-scientists/

This sort of thing demands that scientists speak up. And conservative
scientists should shout very loudly that they are conservative and do not
agree with this sort of governmental interference. The Nazis censored
science because of a Jewish connection, and now people who know nothing
about climate science are doing the same. TX has tried to put creationism
into the science classes and only put in a mandate to teache the
controversy, ignoring the fact that there is no controversy. I also know
that some "petroleum engineers" claim that oil is being continuously created
in the Earth. This sort of pseudoscientific nonsense is propagated in TX,
and supported and promoted from the highest levels of the TX government.

Where are the intelligent conservatives who could push against this type of
thing. If only Buckley were still around.
