When you say "better" if you mean fancier, then yes these are that. But if
you mean better as in students learn more...

I don't know about this particular physics engine but every other physics
engine we've checked out is not physically accurate so simulations made
using them can't be used to collect any quantitative data. This one looks
suspiciously like the others. A few things fell in a suspiciously
non-physical way.

I've done some simulation work in the past and these look pretty good.
What does it mean when the gaming world has better simulations than the
physics research world?


That someone expects to make fast money from it.
