The deletion has been done.
I hardly see why one would want to intentionally leave errors in a reference work - even as a test for students.
I trust that someone will let the list know when/if it is reinserted?

(I have had the personal experience of listening to a number of physics pholks who seem to take great pleasure in pointing out serious errors in the wikipedia. To the best of my knowledge, a correction is seldom, if ever, overridden. This could result in a topic being moderated, as are touchy political/social issues etc. Physics hasn't yet descended to this level of rancor.)
