Cutting isotherms once, twice, or arbitrarily many times is irrelevant to the question of whether or not a process is reversible.

There is evidently some reversible process, perhaps many processes, that (in the case of current interest) can travel between limiting temperature values but during this trajectory allow the temperature to change in a non-monotonic way, while the associated pressure and volume both change. I wonder what an example of this would look like?
