Now I get it - Obama is the second coming of the messiah and Lewis is the antichrist (I looked at his picture and I can barely discernen a 666 on his forehead.

Good grief! Tell me again how AGW is not a religion.

I wouldn't ordinarily share such an obviously partisan piece in this
forum, but I stumbled upon this immediately after sending my previous
message and I think it speaks to the anti-intellectual, anti-expert,
anti-academic, anti-science epidemic currently spreading through
American culture, an epidemic that will cost America dearly and that
will only be fueled by Harold Lewis' irresponsibility. Partisan or
not, I don't think it is at all unfair to note that, for whatever
reason, the disease infects elected policy makers in one political
party to a FAR greater degree.
