If it's just circuit diagrams you're looking for (and not, say, board layout
programs), you might try Qucs. I have only used it in linux, but they claim it
should work on OS X, too. You can also do transient simulations -- it's quite
nice.

There is a good circuit program called Elec Solve 2.1 in the math/science
widgets browser list. Do you know how to retrieve widgets and search for new
widgets? If not e-mail me and I will send instructions on finding new programs
that are free to download.
