Re: [Phys-l] operational definition on heat

Hi all-
I learned a long time ago from Hake that "operational definition" is best given by a stick-figure sketch of someone doing something. The verb "heat" my be defined by a sketch of someone holding a pot over a fire.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a good operational definition on heat?
By the way, some students have difficulty understanding "heat is a
verb".
