[Phys-l] modern G measurement

Hi --

Does anybody have experience with the TEL-Atomic Cavendish balance?
http://www.telatomic.com/mechanics/cavendish_balance.html
http://physics.mercer.edu/hpage/cav.html

I haven't seen the actual device, but according to the documentation
it seems to have some nice features:
-- It fits on a tabletop. It is smaller than a breadbox.
-- It uses modern electronics.
-- The front-end sensors are, by construction, blind to the
undesired pendulous modes. There is some nice basic physics
in this.

Are there other designs competing in this space?
