Then there is the recent NYTimes article about how the power industry
suppressed the writings of their own scientists. Essentially they
suppressed the positive information about human induced global warming and
left in the criticisms of human induced global warming. There appears to
have been a deliberate disinformation bias. It reminds one of what the
tobacco companies did with their evidence.
The energy industry scientists were convinced that there was significant
human contribution to global warming, but that never got out, until now.
I grew up in upstate NY and the temperature hardly got above 72 back then,
but on more recent visits the summer temperatures are much higher. True
this is anecdotal, but it does tend make one believe in global warming.
